Holiday Anxieties (NaNoWriMo edition).

These words are going towards my National Novel Writing Month word count goal. Luckily, these word will help me get over the 50K line. More about how I won next month! Earlier this year, I wrote a blog about being depressed around the winter season (read it here for reflection, if you’d like). While skimmingContinue reading “Holiday Anxieties (NaNoWriMo edition).”

Going home causes anxiety.

Photo taken by Ben Marcin  If you’ve ever had to decide where relatives go for the holidays, you might recall the feelings similar to mine. Over the past couple of years, the holidays have been smaller family events, but during my high school days (and younger) it was always a trip toContinue reading “Going home causes anxiety.”

Reflections after a rally.

Today, I participated in something I had never thought I would; or could. “We Shall Over comb” was the signage winner at the capitol today. This weekend has involved a lot of political riots, protests, and rallies across the United States. Today multiple cities held their own Women’s March rally. I am currently behind on my National Novel Writing Month word count by twenty-six thousand plus words. Today is the 27th, so if I write at least 7,000 words a day, I’ll finish above the 50-KContinue reading “Thanks and Giving”

You don’t deserve to be my Dad, or my siblings.

My biological father isn’t what a father should be; nor was his father. If you have a Grandfather,Dad, Step-Dad, Adopted Dad, or even a male guardian figure who is supportive, lets you be yourself, and many other positive things please tell them thank you. I also started tearing up when I was writing this, and for yearsContinue reading “You don’t deserve to be my Dad, or my siblings.”

End of March

We are approaching the end of March, and life has been pretty. Pretty is a nice word, actually. I started my gardening at my Grandfathers house, which is also where I reside too. Because i have medical appointments approaching in April, I moved from Oklahoma City back in January because of Doctor recommendations, costs, etc.Continue reading “End of March”
