Am Writing, Life, Taking Inventory Series

Hello, October! Did someone say MLB Postseason? 😀
Now since I can move past last month, I’m excited to write today’s taking inventory series. This month, I have a busy month ahead planning, as well as academic work. Every month, I write a small insight on what’s going on in my life. Over the past two to three years, the transformation of how I use my blogging space continues to shock me. As always, you can follow me here on WordPress or on Twitter.

Let’s dive in!

Water bottle I had from March to September this year (from Target). The lettering began to peel off in August. This teal bottle was lost at the grocery store, not surprised.

Word of the month: Breathe. A few months ago, I had used this word for the month (I believe I used it in March). With the weather cooling down and the leaves falling, I have to remind myself to breathe. Seasons change and it’s okay.

Making/Eating/Drinking: I combined these three together. Last week, I tried roasted bell peppers, which was okay. Would I make it again? Most likely not. But, I will make a spinach & cheese wrap this week.
By the way, don’t forget to stay hydrated with water!

Watching: I will continue where I left off with binge watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch. With it being October, I plan on participating in Shocktober. Shocktober is where you watch a horror movie every day. Spooky!
OH. It’s also postseason for Major League Baseball. Just a friendly sports reminder. 🙂

Listening: Been listening to a lot more classical music lately! Hopefully this Saturday night, I’ll get to go see the Oklahoma City Philharmonic perform my personal favorite classical music set composed by Gustav Holst, the Planets.

Reading: Wrapping up a spirituality book on Buddhism today, The Buddha in Everyone’s Heart. One book for sure I know I’ll read this month, is The Collected Short Stories of Louis L’amour, Volume Five. I hadn’t gotten the chance to read westerns in several years and I’m excited to finally get to read a western.

Smelling: Lavender! Personal favorite smell, along with fall scented candles.

Book Marking: It’s NaNoWriMo Prep Season! Next week, I’ll publish my NaNoWriMo blogs, but for now, I’ve got this Worldbuilding Reddit board to help me get going before next month!

Enjoying: The small things. Like today’s October 1st and I get to stay at home all day. Tomorrow, I have an exam. Next weekend, I get to visit family for the weekend. Will I dress up for Halloween this year? The last time I dressed up was 2012, so I just might this year.

Loving: I have learned to go back to the small beautiful things. I’ve been able to incorporate daily journaling and meditation into my daily habits, as well as starting to build-up my word count.

Feeling: Last month, I was letting my mental health cave. All I had to do, was make it to September 30th. I survived, and I am grateful for it. Every September, I am able to walk out stronger than I started. You can check out these two blogs below for more detailed writings on the month of September.
