One thing I do love about four-day weeks is the excitement that follows when you reach Friday. Today’s photography practice photo was taken on Sunday. Below I’ll discuss the information about the photo.
Before I share the photo, I just want to remind all my wonderful readers that you can always comment and add in your two cents on whatever I write about on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. I’ve been more active on WordPress compared to Twitter but I always enjoy following people back on social media.

Backstory
This photo was taken on Sunday morning, not long after I poured the last of my fresh coffee into my pink 16 ounce mug. The mug was a holiday gift from my Mother and sister, who gave me the mug along with a tea bag set. They knew that I had been transitioning away from drinking coffee and this photo was a last hurrah before sipping the last of my coffee.
I was introduced to coffee in 2012 and slowly became addicted to being a frequent flyer at Starbucks and other coffee shops. It wasn’t until 2018, did I notice that my physical and mental body wasn’t reacting well to coffee. After finally using up the last of my freshly grounded coffee, I am now starting to remove coffee from my options of caffeine.
It was last fall that I realized that it wasn’t caffeine that was throwing off my bodily functions but that it was just coffee and the added sweeteners. Hence the transition to teas and honey. Which, I can easily handle. A few days ago, I posted about how I love tea when its foggy or raining. That hasn’t changed.
I’ve taken photos before of tea or coffee in my mugs here at home. The last one I did, is pictured above and is a wonderful black and white photo. This one, is a little lighter in content and has a slight perspective change.
Note the perspective difference between the photo up top and the one below. Since I was working with a taller cup, I had to adjust where my camera was.

Thanks for checking out this week’s photography practice post. I hope you enjoy this last weekend of January as we get ready for the Chinese New Year!
Cheers,
Danielle
I’ve cut out all sweeteners and milk products for my coffee and it and I are just fine now. ;0)

Wonderful! That was something I had been working on but didn’t stick to for very long. I did switch milks in general, which helped greatly.

It’s true. Dairy is not that great for us humans.
