Ah, another weekend is insight. Hopefully, you will have time to rest and relax this weekend. Maybe a cup of tea and a good book or an iced coffee and a binge-worthy show? Whatever you may be up to this weekend, may it be spent with the people you love and the things that bring you joy.
Today’s photo Friday is of my desk, currently. I was supposed to get this a few weeks ago and due to moving states, the items got sent to my old address in Oklahoma. It took overa week to get Amazon to refund my order. And then, I was able to reorder them to my home address here in Texas.
Luckily, that’s the only time I’ve ordered things to the wrong address since my move at the beginning of the year.
In this photo, we have my new keybhoard and mouse set. If anyone has been observing office and retail trends, these type of retro keyboards have been trending for at least a year. For me, I gave myself restraint to hold off on buying one until I had tried one out and did my research. The new mat underneath is like a gaming mat to protect the desk from stains and scratches. There’s a chance that I’ll get a second one for my little cubical outside the house. And, there’s the chance that this one (and the keyboard) will go to the in-person office and then have a different one for my home office.
The other odds and ends on my desk are papers, reciepts, junk, loose change, and vanity like items because my new room is quite small. Above the main desk is a bookshelf on the top shelf with materials for writing, editing, and notekeeping.
