Dear 2023

I am writing to you because I have some words to say.

We all know how the past year was a bit rough for me to create, maintain, and be grounded.

This year, can you please be kind to all of us? We truly all need a break, a miracle.

You’ve probably noticed, 2023, that my finances and mental health collapsed at the end of the year. I have already gone to the ER this year and truly, I just need grace from you.

This is me pleading for a job I can work in and a website to reboot and reconfigure. A creative journey to reignite, books to be read and more.

I know this may come as a shock but I am quite unnerved by the past three years alone.

And I know that you know that I know — that I’m not the only one who has said that.

Not every day has been bad up until this point, which I appreciate. But a little bit of grace for all the days of this year will help 2024 be just as kind.

I thank you for the magical blessings that come my way because of an unwavering faith. May those who read this open letter know that they too can call upon the Universe, Source, “God”, whomever to attract that which is best for them.

Until next time, may you be well this year.

Cheers,
Danielle Sullivan

I figured this letter was topical. I have taken a sabbatical from social media and did not write a lot in 2022. I’ve hit some rough financial times and am struggling with coping with how to stay afloat and create at the same time. I have let all my passions fall to the ground and returning to some balance has been difficult. I am wanting to write more and create beautiful photography this year. Except that I am unsure right now how this will get done with a poor job history of late and an overdue bill or two. Thank you for reading today’s post and I would appreciate well wishes and moral support. I know I’m not the only one who is struggling here- I just wanted to write my way out with this letter to 2023.

May YOU be well and may the light within you continue to shine. No matter what.
