Photography Friday: National Coffee Day

Gran Rising!
Today’s blog post follows my theme for doing photos on Fridays!
I was going to post some jewelry edits of a project I just wrapped up, except I remembered its National Coffee Day! Below are photos I’ve taken of my favorite beverage over the years.
If you haven’t heard from me in a while, I’ve been recovering from a bout of depression that occured earlier this month. Which hey, I know I can make it through those moments for all this will pass. That reminds me of a song I have favorited on Spotify.

This Too Shall Pass India.Arie

And this song began as I was starting this blog post:

WInds of the West, Ayla Nareo

Alas, I’ve been slowly making my pressence known online by sharing my life events, creativity, & projects I have going on. On Sunday, I will release a blog post about the vibes going on in October and on Wednesday, I will share what books I’m reading in October!
I’ve been taking photos since I was a child. I truly fell in love with the art of photography about five years ago, when I would share mundane photos on social media and on my website. Now, its more of a hobby that focuses on nature and products. I’ve enjoyed photography sessions with a local small jewelry business, pets, friends, & nature.
And one area I used to take a lot of photos was of my latte art and coffee drinks. I was a Starbucks barista in 2018 and the pictures declined and I took a break. So, let’s look at the cafe pictures. Does this inspire you to sip coffee? Let me know in the comments and I look forward to chatting with you about coffee!

Lavender latte with a cute little heart.

These two latte art pictures are from my favorite non-profit coffeeshop here in Norman, Oklahoma. It’s second wind coffee shop, where you pay-what-you-can for your tea or coffee! This is run by a Presbytarian church and the baristas are all university students as volunteers. I’ve been a patron on Second Wind since August 2018 and its one of the reasons I enjoy living in Norman.

Thank you for reading today’s blog post! As always, there’s a subscription option as well as a following feed for those who use WordPress. Until the next post, I wish you well!
Cheers,
Danielle
